SEQUENCING SERVICE

DNA sequencing service has been initiated in the Estación Fitopatolóxica do Areeiro. This new service works with a capillary genetic analyzer ABIPRISM 310 Genetic Analyzer (Applied Biosystem).

Sample submission:

Samples will be DNA fragments obtained by PCR and purified. The specific primer to be used will be also submitted. Required DNA concentration will be of 50-100 ng with a minimum of 20 µl, and the primer's concentration will be 5 p moles/ µl with a minimum of 10 µl. The service will be open to the public from 8:00 to 15:00 hours from Monday to Friday on working days. The Sequencing Application Form will be also submitted together with the samples and the specific primer.
