Tetranychus
urticae, Panonychus ulmi: Tetranychus urticae and
Panonychus ulmi: both are polyphagous, but T. urticae attacks
mostly grass species (crops, ornamentals and wild species), Panonychus ulmi
shows preference for woody species.
Once mite colonies are detected, chemicals such as summer oil,
amitraz, sulphur, dicofol, diazinon, propargite, tebuphenpyrad or
fenazaquin¹ can be applied.

Note:
Phytoseiids are natural enemies of phytophagous mites. The fact that
some of these beneficial mites can be found naturally on camellia plants should
be considered when applying a chemical. Moreover, some species are produced
artificially, i. e. Phytoseiulus persimilis which is efficient against
T. urticae..
