Summary:Second edition of the book Plagas y enfermedades del castaño . The previous version of the book has been revised and extended in order to include important chestnut sanitary matters like the preservation of chestnuts or pruning tips as well as an annexus including funguicides and products for healing pruning cuts as a prophylactic measure against pathogens. In this second edition the detection of the aphid Tuberculatus kuricola on chestnut in Galicia is reported.
