Española broadcasted a report on the oil camellia extraction carried
out at the Estación Fitopatolóxica do Areeiro. This oil can be
used in the preparation of cosmetics (soaps, creams...) and it can be used for
culinary purposes. The centre has also an experimental tea
plantation.
